Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss
You have changed so many lives with your words. I have always loved Dr. Seuss books and this quote in particular.
When Cooper was in the NICU I didn’t get to see or hold him for several hours after he was born. When I was finally allowed to visit him, Tommy wheeled me down to the NICU. This quote was above the NICU entrance doors. At that time a flood of emotions came to me because this quote had a whole new meaning to me.
I’m so grateful for quotes like this that make uniqueness acceptable. It’s so simple, yet so powerful. It doesn’t matter ones shape, size, color, ect. We are ALL people. We are ALL important. We are ALL loved.
