Coop’s Christmas 2015

Christmas time is one of my favorite times of the year. As you can see from this top photo, Coop was unhappy Santa didn’t stick around to say hi. This year my grandparents from Arizona came up to spend the Holidays with us and it was so great to have them.
Coop looking adorable in his Christmas Jammies!

And Dad in his Jammies with Coop!

We had a little bit of a leopard print theme this year… and usually every year.
Our family has a long time tradition of making Monkey Rolls for Christmas breakfast. Coop LOVED them. And I think we will make them one of our own family traditions.
Santa brought Coop a hoop! He loves playing catch with dad and always gravitates right towards anything involving balls. So this year he can work on improving his ball grasping skills and can maybe master the slam dunks… just maybe thought.

The last two years my parents have cooked King Crab for Christmas Eve dinner. I was so fun to take these two pictures a year apart to see how much Cooper has changed!

This year I made some salt dough ornaments to preserve Coop’s hand. They were so easy and I wish I had done them last year too! I love those little starfish hands so much!

Salt Dough

1 cup flour

1/2 cup salt

1/2 cup warm water

Mix well. Flour surface and roll out dough. Cut into shapes and press hands. Then bake at 250 for 2 hours. Let dry and spray paint. I used a straw to poke the hole, and just used wire to make the hook. Super easy.

Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! We sure did!
